Denali Explorer – Tour B

Discover the Highlights of Fairbanks, Mount McKinley and Denali

After your first night in Fairbanks you discover the city and its surrounding during a sternwheeler cruise along the Chena River. On the same day we’ll bring you to the Denali National Park where you’ll spend the night in our Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge and take part in a “Natural History Tour”. Then you’ll continue your journey to our Mount McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge which is famous for its view over the mountains. After having spent the night in the lodge, we’ll bring you to Whittier where your ship is waiting for you.

Day 1 Fairbanks
Arrive in Fairbanks, check into your hotel and prepare for your sensational Alaska adventure.

Day 2 Fairbanks / Denali
This morning, enjoy a nostalgic Riverboat Cruise on an authentic steamwheeler. Then travel by motorcoach to Denali National Park where you’ll spend one night in our Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge.

Day 3 Denali / Mount McKinley
Take part in a “Natural History Tour” into Denali National Park in the morning before continuing your journey to the Mount McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.

Day 4 Mount McKinley / Whittier
Transfer to Talkeetna by motorcoach and board the Mount McKinley express to Whittier where you’ll embark on your spectacular cruise.

Day 4 – 11
Cruise “Voyage of the glaciers”

This cruisetour can be booked in the reverse order as well, i.e. the land program takes place after the cruise.
